I’m Rick Powell, an American serial expat living with metastasized colorectal cancer in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I don’t have health insurance and right now, I don’t have a job, either. Most of my health expenses are covered by the Argentine public health care system. But, not all, and they certainly don’t feed me.
My last project was Juanele AR, a bilingual blog covering the arts and artists of Buenos Aires. I conceived of, founded, edited, designed, art-directed and photographed for Juanele.
I also founded the San Telmo Art Walk, a 3-hour walking tour of Buenos Aires’ oldest and most bohemian barrio.
