I had a great time last night with friends in Barrio Chino. We ate delicious, if not exactly entirely authentic, Korean cuisine at BBQ Town. Beatrice Murch expertly grilled the meat, and I pigged out on some of the most delicious marinated pork I’ve ever had. Soft and tender. I think the hot soup defeated Joel, however.
BBQ Town is appointed in a lovely, minimalist and modern fashion, and the service is pretty good for Buenos Aires, with smiles and a decent amount of attention. One of our waiters was quite cute, too. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t packed, considering the quality and the value (all you can eat, basically, for ARS $120.). Maybe it had something to do with the Cerrado sign still posted in the window.
Anyway, here we are:
It was the first time I’d been out in months, so thanks, folks, for the lovely time!
